Applications: |
Flex4® gloves are designed for use in sheet metal, glass and knife blade hazards where the edges are sharp. As sheet metal gets thinner, the edges become sharper and the burrs much smaller. In these situations, a glove must have both tensile strength and yarn hardness. Applications include paper mills, corrugated manufacturing, plastic mold trimming, carpet cutting, glass handling, and can manufacturing. The polyurethane palm coating provides a positive grip on oily, wet or dry surfaces. |
Information: |
Flex4® gloves are made with Dynamax®45, which combines ultra high tensile strength with a yarn hardness to provide cut resistance in sheet metal, machined metal, glass, and knife blade applications. Flex4® gloves are available in 12 sizes to allow workers to get an exact fit in order to do their job safely. Flex4® gloves are 100% latex free and treated with Sanifresh® to prevent bacteria from growing both during and after glove use. The Taperfit® knitwrist cuffs are extended length to protect the wrist area without causing constriction or discomfort. These gloves may be cleaned repeatedly with the Bantex® cleaning process. Gloves cleaned with this process are bacteria free and cosmetically acceptable for users to wear. The initial unit cost is reduced with each cycle of reuse. |
Cautions: |
Polyurethane coatings offer the most comfort and dexterity but provide the least abrasion and puncture resistance as compared to nitrile or latex coatings. These gloves are made with a synthetic yarn so they should not be worn near heat or open flame. Flex4® gloves should be edge-tested and grip-tested prior to approval for use.
